Real Time with Bill Maher

There are very few shows I watch religiously, but Real Time is one of them.   This week the special guest was the brother of Pat Tillman.  One of the things I found interesting about the interview was that 52% of the US casualties in Afghanistan and Iraq are friendly fire.  That's quite an outrageous number.

  11. WHAT?! 52%? That's outrageous!

Imagine finding out the people you were shooting at were actually friendlies. That must be horrible.

  13. It's way too high... i mean it's understandable though... go play a round of paintball... half the time you don't know if your teammates are you enemies.

  14. Considering the environment they're fighting in, that's not a surprising statistic. Still, I find 52% a bit high.
